The Rukka Kallavesi trousers have (unsurprisingly) been designed to match adventure style Kallavesi jacket. As with the jacket, these stylish and functional trousers have evolved from years of feedback from Rukka customers T
As with the jacket the GORE-TEX® Pro 3-layer membrane is laminated to a tough Cordura shell which ensures the most breathable and waterproof pants that offer protection from the rough and tumble world of motorcycling. In those areas that need a little added strength on occasion, there are super tough ARMACOR™ overlays over the knees which nicely match the ones on the jacket.
There is also air ventilation on the thighs to help with doing the distance, and the hot weather comfort is further helped by the use of D30’s Air XTR armour which comes as standard in the hips and knees. On those cold days it may do you well to leave in the removable 60g liner that contains Outlast® for temperature regulation. The seat of the pants uses Rukka’s Air Cushion system for extra comfort, especially on a long trip. To help make the pants easier to wear there are stretch panels in the groin, above the knees, and in the back yoke.
For added protection for both rider and bike there are leather panels in the rear and down the inside of the legs to help with tank abrasion and bike heat. The leather also reduces the chances of saddle sliding. Some of the other features you’ll find in these pants are heavy showerproof pockets, a full-length connecting zip to match these with the Kallavesi jacket, or indeed any jacket from the Rukka range. There is a Velcro® adjustable belt at the waist, comfortable braces and wide leg bottoms that close with Velcro®.
